Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to use the service. Accounts are for parents and legal guardians, who use the service on behalf of the children in their care. Children do not create or use accounts themselves.

Nite Nite Stories generates short, personalised bedtime stories based on details you provide about your child. Stories are created by AI and are meant purely for gentle, family entertainment. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the service.

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Please give us accurate information and let us know at hello@nitenitestories.comif you suspect any unauthorised use. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

• Free trial. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. We collect your payment details upfront, but you are not charged during the trial.
• What happens after the trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, your subscription automatically begins at $3.99 per month, charged to your payment method.
• Renewal.Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. We'll email you a reminder before your trial ends.
• Cancelling.You can cancel anytime from your account's billing page. Cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged at all. Cancel later and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Price changes.If we ever change the price, we'll tell you in advance so you can decide whether to continue.

Payments are processed by our secure payment processor. Taxes may apply depending on where you live.

The free trial is your chance to decide if Nite Nite Stories is right for your family, so subscription payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If something has gone wrong, email hello@nitenitestories.com— we're reasonable people and want you to be happy.

Stories are generated automatically by an AI model. That means:

• Each story is unique and produced by software, not written or reviewed by a person before you see it.
• While we've designed the service to produce gentle, age-appropriate stories, AI can occasionally be unpredictable. We encourage a parent to read a story before sharing it at bedtime.
• Stories are for entertainment only and are not educational, medical, or psychological advice.

Please don't:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, harmful, or intended to create inappropriate content involving minors.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Resell or commercially redistribute the service or its stories without our permission.

We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the service or put children at risk.

Your stories are yours. The stories we generate for you are yours to read, save, print, and share with your family for personal, non-commercial use. To run the service, you grant us permission to store and display those stories back to you.

Our brand is ours.The Nite Nite Stories name, logo, software, and design belong to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. Please don't use them without permission.

We rely on trusted third-party providers — a secure data storage provider, a secure payment processor, and AI technology — to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the service is also subject to those providers' terms where they apply.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we need to for legal or safety reasons. When your account ends, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes relating to the service or these terms will be handled by the courts that have proper jurisdiction under that law.
